On Tuesday afternoon of this past week The Village Green was in the room where the Housatonic water crisis was playing out.
Here’s the story of that meeting, which includes the Fire District minutes from the September 23rd meeting where Housatonic Water Works Company claimed it could not pay its water bills.
That story, as well as the subsequent letters from Eric Gabriel and Steve Bannon, are not behind a paywall, but this work took time and care. Pursuing this fast-moving story as it plays out will take time and care.
If you appreciate that work, here’s the link to become a paid subscriber.
The most helpful thing you could do as you watch football, baseball or wait for dinner to cook: share a link to the Village Green with five of your friends, family or colleagues who would also appreciate it with a note about why you subscribe.
Thank you!
PS: Dropping tomorrow is a From the Gazebo podcast episode with Nadia Milleron, where she addresses the mailer that has everyone talking.
